COSTUME & CONTENT GUIDELINES
This is a family-friendly event.
Permitted: horror elements, fake blood, avant-garde, bizarre, theatrical aesthetics, handheld props.
Not Permitted: live fire, open flame, smoke, or similar effects, large set pieces, rolling structures or installations, personal audio or music devices, overtly sexual content.
Lingerie may be incorporated as a component of a costume but may not be the primary focu and may not be overtly sexual.
If an outfit is deemed inappropriate, the contestant will be required to modify it before competing. Refusal to modify will result in disqualification without refund. Final discretion regarding appropriateness rests with Bizarre Bazaar Tattoo Convention and Hot Tomato Portraits, including their representatives Chase, Meg, and Andi.
REGISTRATION
Entry fee: $25 (non-refundable and non-transferable)
Contest is capped at 25 contestants. Pre-registration is encouraged and prioritized. Same-day registration permitted if space remains.
All registration closes at 1:30pm on October 3rd, sharp. Contestants must be in line by 1:29pm to be eligible. No entries will be accepted for anyone in line after 1:29pm.
Bizarre, theatrical, and unconventional interpretations are encouraged.
Bizarre Bazaar Tattoo Convention and Hot Tomato Portraits reserve the right to decline entries that do not algn with the event theme.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to individuals 18 years of age or older.
Open to people of all gender identities, gender expressions, and sizes.
Men, women, gays, and theys are encouraged to participate.
Individual contestants only. No group or duo entries.
Contestants must remain in costume for the duration of the pageant (2-4pm).
Contestants must be present at the time awards are announced to receive a title. If you are not present, you cannot win.
